ABOUT Luis M. Garza
Freelance photographer based in San Antonio, TX.
I am an artist and owner of LMG Photography and Art. Throughout my photography career I have made space for travel to investigate and capture natural spaces through hiking, backpacking, birding and nature watching across the US Southwest, Texas, and the Gulf Coast. I enjoy being among and learning about new cultures. Traveling abroad I have been privileged to visit destinations including Japan, Thailand, Brazil, Peru, Mexico, Western Europe and more recently South Africa and Botswana on the African Continent. In my youth I was always fascinated by distant places being exposed through PBS television and National Geographic magazines. I relish any opportunity to experience the world and it’s people.
